The Infiniti G is a luxury car brand produced by Nissan. The first 2 generations of Infiniti G were made based on Nissan primera and were originally compact executive cars. The beginning with its third generation (V35), the Infiniti G has been based on the sportier Nissan Skyline line of sedans, coupes and 2-door convertibles.
The Nissan FM platform, on top of which the 3rd and 4th generations (V35 and V36) of the Infiniti G have been developed, has shared features with the Infiniti M and also supports the 350Z and the Infiniti FX models.
